I was born in upstate New York in 1979, and shortly after, moved to Florida. Drawing and painting has been a part of my life from a very early age. I received my training from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where in 2000, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation.
After graduating, my professional career began in a multimedia firm based in South Florida. I then was hired by a national jewelry manufacturing company to work in their creative/marketing department. After spending a number of years working in the field and gaining experience, I was promoted to the position of Creative Director in 2004. In 2012 I was hired to be the Creative/Marketing Director of the luxury real estate firm Seaside Properties Group at Douglas Elliman. In 2018, I accepted a position as Creative Director at GL Homes - one of the largest private home builders in the state.
In additon to my career position, I also continue to work on my personal growth as an artist and designer. I am constantly developing and working on various projects to push my creative skills further. I love art, design and exploring new opportunities to use my creativity.
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Responsible for managing design department and staff, focusing on all aspects of creativity including: graphic design - branding - print collateral - publication ad designs - direct mail campaigns - photography and image editing - video editing - web design - email marketing - S.E.O. optimization and analytics - social media management.
MARKETING MANAGER
Responsible for development and execution of strategic marketing plans including: managing all department activities - production of marketing material - coordinating and negotiating with outside agencies, developers, printers and publications - maintaining accurate department records, documentation, databases, deadlines and expenses - creating detailed presentations and project plans - implementation of CRM system to improve productivity, communication and efficiency.
GRAPHIC/PRINT DESIGN
Creation of graphic and print material including: publication ads, logos, business cards, letterhead, postcards, folders, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, clothing and more.
PHOTO AND VIDEO
Extensive experience in real estate and product photography - expert photo editing and retouching skills - video editing, clip compositing, visual effects and motion graphics.
INTERNET
Variety of Internet skills including: web design - database management - S.E.O. optimization - social media management - moderate level HTML and CSS coding including responsive design - Wordpress site management - email marketing.
ART, ILLUSTRATION and 3D GRAPHICS
Traditional, digital artist capable of creating custom 2D and 3D graphics for a variety of needs including: concept art - book illustration - character development - media covers - clothing - product branding - moderate level 3D character, object and scene creation.
